Internal Quality Assurance Cell

Objective:

To develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.

To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

Functions:

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
  • Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process.

Training & Placement Cell

Objective:

  • Career Guidance and Counseling: Supports students in exploring career options and setting professional goals in the healthcare industry.
  • Skill Development and Training: Conducts workshops, seminars, and clinical training to enhance professional competencies.
  • Placement Assistance: Organizes on-campus and off-campus recruitment drives and connects students with top healthcare employers.
  • Industry Readiness: Prepares students through mock interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, and industry visits for real-world challenges.

Student Mentoring Cell

Objective:

  • Guidance and Personal Support: Providing academic, emotional, and career-related support through mentorship, counseling, and goal-setting discussions.
  • Skill and Personality Development: Enhancing student skills and confidence through workshops, co-curricular activities, and personal development sessions.
  • Problem Solving and Counseling: Addressing academic, personal, and emotional challenges through one-on-one counseling and mentor interactions.
  • Overall Student Growth: Improving academic performance, fostering healthy student-faculty relationships, and promoting the holistic development of students.

Anti Ragging cell

Ragging constitutes:

  • As per the UGC REGULATIONS ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, 2009. (under Section 26 (1)(g) of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956)
  • Verbal or Physical Harassment: Teasing, insulting, or handling any student—especially freshers—with rudeness or aggression.
  • Mental or Emotional Abuse: Actions causing fear, shame, embarrassment, or affecting a student's mental health or self-confidence.
  • Disruption of Academics: Preventing or disturbing regular academic activities or unfairly using others to complete academic tasks.

SC/ST CELL

Objective:

The SC/ST Cell aims to support the academic and personal development of SC/ST students by ensuring access to reservation-based educational opportunities, scholarships, and career guidance. It promotes awareness about higher education, competitive exams, and job options. The cell fosters an inclusive and respectful environment, addressing any instances of harassment in coordination with the anti-ragging cell, and works to ensure equal treatment and career growth for SC/ST students.
